Easy UMS enable USB Mass storage on Galaxy S3 i9300

ICS Android 4.0 has brought so many new features and a smoother operating platform to android devices, but one thing which every ICS user missed on phone is USB mass transfer. On Android v 2.3Gingerbread operating system we have an option to connect device memory to computer using USB mass storage mode which is a real fast way to transfer files. With ICS you only left with MTP (Media Transfer protocol). I am not going to discuss about advantages and disadvantages of both or MTP Vs USB Mass storage. But one thing is very clear to me that USB Mass storage is much faster than MTP and also you can perform all operations from PC like you do for pendrive. Now you can use USB Mass storage for your external SD card in Samsung Galaxy S3 i9300 using this simple application made by Kopfgeldjaeger. Read on for details.

You can simply download and install the APK file from XDA forum and use it.

Once you want to use UMS on Galaxy S3 just press the UMS mode and when you want to switch back to MTP you can switch by pressing MTP.

This will show your external memory card as USB mass storage.. Not the internal storage.
