Galaxy S3 has brought some new exciting features in market and developer are really working hard to make sure that those are not really restricted to Galaxy S3. S Voice is an answer from Samsung to Apple Siri Voice assistant client. S voice is exclusively made for Galaxy S3 I9300, but developers succeed to port it to other Ice cream Sandwich devices. Read on for installation procedure and Video Guide.
Prerequisites
- Make sure your phone is running on Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwich (Stock or custom ROM like CM9)
- Download S Voice-signed.apk (download "Modified APK Courtesy of pHaez. Thanks B."); App from XDA Forum
- Uninstall any VoiceTalk APP (like Voice Talk.apk in Samsung S2)
Procedure
- Copy the svoice-signed.apk File to your phone memory
- Make sure you have enabled installation of unknown sources in APP settings
- Install svoice-signed.apk file
Enjoy
Possible errors while installing S Voice
S Voice Giving "Application not installed"
- Use ES Explorer (download it free from Google Play) and goto App Manager
- Uninstall VoiceTalk App
- Now Install the downloaded S Voice App
S Voice Giving "Network Error"
This may be because either Samsung servers are down or they are restricting the devices other than S3 to access the services. If you use above signed APK file then you will not have this issue.
