Galaxy S4 AirView on other Android phones with Hovering Controls App

Every other day, we have a new smartphone in the market with better features and latest technology. Our desire to explore more with our smart devices never ends. Mobile manufacturers around the world are busy building smarter phones.
One such technology that has caught some attention in recent times is the hand gestures experience. This technology enables you to control your device even without actually touching it. With the help of gestures, you can perform any task on the device, just by waving your hand, or simply swiping the hand over the screen. read on for more.
There are only a few smartphones that achieve this. Samsung S4 has air gestures and Sony Xperia Sola offers floating touch. But, if you do not own any of these phones, don’t be disheartened. There is a way you can achieve this in your device too.
One of the XDA member has developed an app called Hovering Controls, which helps you experience and control the device with your hand gestures. The app uses your device’s proximity sensor to recognise your actions and perform a task. You can receive a call, snooze your alarm, open an app, start or stop a music, all this just by hovering your hand over the screen.

There are two modes available to open an app:
1. Target mode: open a pre-determined app by a preset gesture
2. Carousel mode: open apps from a list of apps already set

The app has two versions and is still in beta. One version is available for free download from XDA forum, and second is paid version, available in Google Play. The paid versions only for $1.32 only and supports features and future updates. App supports Android 2.2 and above.
So go ahead, download the APK and experience the new feature in your device.
